You never know what you will find at a garage sale. A short time ago I attended one and purchased a selection of craft supplies. Among the items were some plastic flowers that I thought would make a great embellishment. This morning I was doing a shadow stamping project and decided to try them out – so here are my efforts…
Above is a picture of the embellishments I used. I just cut the stem off the flower, punched a hole in my card where I wanted to place it and then after trimming the little round end I placed it in back of the card and pressed it through the center of the flower to hold it in place. In my opinion, they worked great to enhance the theme in my shadow stamped card.
I decided to check out the local dollar store, and much to my delight and surprise I found some more! You have to look in the childrens barretts to find them. What a fun embellishment!
