Fabrid Daisy Delight Card Making Craft
Materials Needed to Make this Card:
- Brown Cardstock (A)
- Light Pink Cardstock (B & D)
- Off White Cardstock (C)
- Chipboard with flower punched out (E)
- Chipboard Flower Center
- Mini Brad
- Fabric – pink floral print
- Off white craft paint
- Brown ink
- Pink and purple ink (or other colors that compliment your fabric)
- Craft Knife
- Scissors
- Glue
- 3-d Sticky Foam
- Mini Bee Clear Stamp Set
- HAND CRAFTED Card Making Template
To Make This Card:
- Prepare paper pieces as instructed in the HAND CRAFTED Card Making Template
- Using the Mini Bee Clear Stamp Set, stamp flowers in pink ink onto C. Stamp two images before re-inking the stamp (this is called second generation stamping). Do the same with the flower centers in purple ink. Continue following the HAND CRAFTED Card Making Template.
- Paint the chipboard flower outline and the flower center with off white craft paint and ink the edges. Put a little ink on your finger or on a sponge and rub it lightly over the dry surface. Cut a piece of fabric about 5” x 3”, and using craft glue, secure the fabric to the back of the chipboard design. Pucker the long edges to make them fit on the square. Do not worry if some of the fabric sticks over the edge as it will be trimmed after the glue has dried. To be sure this dries flat, place the fabric surface on waxed paper and place a weight on the top. Allow it to sit long enough for the glue to set but not dry, and peel the flower off the waxed paper. Allow to completely dry before putting on your card or scrapbooking page.
- Cut a strip of cloth 1” wide by 15” long. With a craft knife and cutting mat, make a slit ¾” long on either side of C starting 1” from the bottom of the card and cutting upwards.
- Insert fabric end into the left slit from the top side of the card, and bring it back up to the surface through the slit on the right. Re insert the fabric strip again into the slit on the left coming up on the right. Adjust the ends so they will fold in behind the front of the card. With the craft knife make a slit wide enough for the cloth to slip through without puckering along the spine of the card. Insert the fabric and secure inside the card with glue.
- Attach the dry chipboard flower with 3-d sticky foam. Punch a hole in the center of the flower and the chipboard flower center with an eyelet punch. Secure into place with a brad. Add a sentiment or thought inside your card or leave it blank for a finished project!
Happy Stamping!!!

Create a colored shadow using this simple rubber stamping technique and a craft knife to make your favorite stamped design ‘pop out’ of your card making projects. Glitter has been used to add sparkle and opulence to the completed card craft.
Materials Needed:
To Make This Card:
- Score cardstock A down 6” from the center and fold giving you a 6″ x 6″ card. Cut paper B to size.
- Using the Rose Sympathy Clear Stamp Set and the multicolored stamp pad, stamp the rose images where desired. Be sure not to put them too close together as you will be cutting them out.
- Using your craft knife and cutting mat, carefully cut out both rose images. The background paper with the rose shaped cutouts may be matted at this point if desired. In this example it was not matted.
- Secure the background paper B onto the front of your card with glue. Center it horizontally in the 5” x 6”. Stamp the sentiment onto the card or if desired, or if your prefer, stamp the card onto a white cardstock, mat and mount below your cut out images.
- Using 3-d sticky squares attach the cut out roses off set to the right or left from where they were cut creating a unique and attractive shadow on your card.
- Cut a strip of double sided tape and attach to the 1” space projecting from the inside of the card. Center the tape in this area and secure. Dust with glitter. This gives you a quick and precise glitter embellishment.

A pocket card is a fun way to include a gift or surprise within the card itself. This card features three butterfly stick puppets made with clear rubber stamps and rubber stamping techniques.

To Make This Card:
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Score the 6″ x 12″ cardstock at the 4″ mark and the 8″ mark. Fan fold the card.

Fold the front two panels together and with your craft knife cut the desired angle for the card pocket as illustrated below.

Pocket formed will look similar to the image below. DO NOT secure the pocket panels together yet at this stage.

Cut out a square frame from your contrasting paper to fit inside your card. Decorate the frame and pocket edges with the mini ric-rack clear border stamp found in the Ribbons and Rikrack Clear Stamp Set. Using your clear border rubber stamp, create vertical lines on the pocket. Be sure to stagger the placement of the flower as you stamp. To prevent the border line from extending over the stamped rikrack place a post it note to mask areas where you don’t want the image to appear. Using the triangle you intitally cut away, stamp 3 of your favorite butterflies with Clear butterfly rubber stamps to make the stick puppets.

Use the square cut from the frame you made from the contrasting paper (in the previous step) to create a moveable element on the front of the card. Add a matching border on the square using your border clear stamp. If you wish to add glitter to the circle designs in your background take a moment to add it to your pocket now. Secure the corner of the square element with a brad through the front panel of the pocket. We used a tiny piece of the triangle scraps to offsett this element. Stamp a flower using your Clear flower rubber stamps. Color in the leaf and the butterflies as desired using watered down ink from the lid of your stamp pad. (You can learn more about this coloring technique from idea number 5 in the Coloring Rubber Stamped Designs article.)

Cut out the butterflies and the flower close to the edge of each design. Adhere the flower to the center of the square using 3D foam tape. Stamp your sentiment above and below the flower using a birthday saying clear stamp.

Using a clear liquid glue cover the petals of your flower and then sprinkle with the mini micro beads. Please note that your glue needs to be fairly thick to hold them on. Liquid glue will cause pigment ink to bleed a little so take care not to cover the design itself if you can.

Next, using the Mini Bee’s clear stamp set fill in the frame inside the card with flowers and leaves. This will leave your butterfly puppets flying over a lovely flower garden.

Secure the edges of you pocket with double sided tape. Adhere the butterfly puppets to kebab skewers and place inside the pocket. You may need to adjust the length of the stick to complement your card.

That completes your puppet pocket card. These cards are great for kids and can be made up in any theme to suit the child’s likes or personality. A puppet pocket card can even be created to tell a story such as Old MacDonald’s Farm or The Little Engine that Could.
Happy Stamping.
